Kho Kho Uganda has rolled out a deliberate, phased capacity-building programme for coaches, trainers, players and administrators, with a target of training 5,000 coaches over three years.
Central Uganda districts — Wakiso, Kampala, Mpigi, Butambala, Mukono, Buikwe, Luweero, Mubende and Masaka — have already hosted clinics, with Eastern Uganda's Iganga Municipality also completing a successful workshop for primary and secondary school teachers and community coaches, led by national team captain Sharon Oroma.
